This is a link that I had bookmarked when I was first learning how to do Tunisian crochet. It’s a very good article that covers several of the basics of color change and several other items you will need to know to do detailed picture patterns. It will be a great resource for you, I know I was on the site a lot until I got the technique down. The Afghan Stitch by Cindy L. Murray. You can find her blog here: Crochet Blog

Here is a video on color changing, it’s actually the one I watched when I learned how to change colors. It’s very good. Color Change Video Part 1 by Geraldine at Gege Crochet blog. The second pass is covered on her Color Change Video Part 2.

I am including this link because I just LOVE the For Dummies books and add that to Tunisian Crochet and I’m in seventh heaven. So without further ado how to change colors by For Dummies.

This is a knitting link on the intarsia method on changing colors, it’s written and has pictures to demonstrate how to change colors. It offers another view of color changing. Tunisian Intarsia tutorial done by Sarah Bradberry.
