Burgundy Pineapple Tablecloth

My Great-grandmother had this beautiful tablecloth that had been crocheted for her when I was a little girl, and is one of the few things that I have from her. I love the pattern of this tablecloth and have looked everywhere for the pattern.

Can’t find it…..so I got brave and sat down with the tablecloth right next to me and made a pattern from her’s. It took me over 2 months to get the tablecloth done, which is a LONG time for me. I crochet very fast.

So, I’m testing the pattern and making the third tablecloth from it. I also did a purple one, that I only did part way.

The absolute beauty of this pattern is the way it is designed you can make the pattern in multiple sizes, you can stop or continue until it reaches the size you want. You could probably even make it as a bedspread, it would be round but you could continue with the pattern.

You control the size of the pattern by repeating the pineapples, with chain rounds in between. I adore this pattern, and hope you will like it.

I will place this pattern up on the site for sale as soon as I’m sure it is correct, and easy to follow.
